Dear SELF,
First off, I want you to know that you are beautiful both inside and out!
The life you want exists and you CAN have it.
It is not a dream.
You are worth every drop of sweat and tears.
There are people in this world, who you may not even realize, that care for you and your wellbeing.
You are stronger than most people in this world.
Don’t let ANYONE judge your journey or your life…most people couldn’t even handle an hour in your shoes.
Don’t compare yourself to others.
You are NOT alone in this battle!
You are courageous.
You are strong.
You are human and can make mistakes.
You are amazing.
You are loved.
And….You CAN beat this.
Yours truly,
Myself

i totally love this…i want to put it on my facebook so everyone can see it!!!!!
we would love that… every little bit helps grow the site and the message.
WOW! This is very awesome! I was feeling a little down and out today, but after reading that kinda gives me the strength to smile! I AM NOT ALONE! THANKS!!!!
I think its in the stars Josh, I am feeling sad today too….so much so I when I got dressed this morning I accidentally put the same shirt I wore yesterday on and went to work. Just keep your head up, because you won’t see the shadows if you are looking to the light!
Thank you!!!! Thats awesome!
You are very welcome!!
There is a lot of strength and truth in those words. Really hits home for many including myself. Very cool Wally.
Wally, I’m one who has been wondering how you are, and praying for you since seeing your show. You are NOT alone, there are so many people who care for you and root for you. And so many people who struggle or have struggled with the same addiction, whether or not they reached your size, they can still relate with doing things they themselves don’t want to do and can’t understand. I am one of those people who knows what its like to be trapped in addictions… for me it was alcohol and drugs first, and later food. I too am still working my way out of the food addiction.
I am so glad I found this post, I’ve really wondered how you were doing.
Wally, that post up there was from me… this is a great forum so I wanted to join up too.
Testing out new fb function
Wow, you describe my thoughts and feelings even after losing 136 pounds, and running a half marathon. I realize its a never ending battle for me to keep my weight down but at times I do feel frustrated. You blog just helped me out and expressed my thoughts. Thank you and Keep Going, you can do it!

Can’t and Impossibles are words that I will never use in describing myself. These words are cop outs that people use when they actually mean I Won’t do it. Please join me in banning these words from our vocabulary.
Go, Wally, go!
c’mon Wally you can beat this!! it’s not just about loving yourself, but about getting over the obsession to eat. Replace your junk food with good stuff and you will start to feel better
Make a specific goal – ANY goal, and do it! after you complete the first goal, it will help motivate you to do a second, and third, and so forth. I know it’s hard right now especially after seeing your epi on tv, but America is pulling for you. Don’t let us down, you’ve got this!
Wally, I love this! Thank you for sharing this with all of us!
